These photos were taken by my dad during their nth trip to China. They have been to different places during this trip but let me show you a series which was taken at Zhang Jia Jie.

Does this place look familiar to you? Yes, this is the place where James Cameron's film the Avatar was filmed. How awesome is that?!? huhu why didn't my parents take me with them? D: hmmph!

A Segue: Let's take a break from all those beach-y photos and let me take you at the top of the mountain, shall we? I mean literally. I love how my edits capture a different feel to these set. It feels so organic. hehe I feel like this blog slowly diverts itself to a travel blog rather than an art blog. Oh well! 'Til the next post ;)

Zoobic 2011

When you visit Subic, never ever miss a trip to Zoobic. A nature park where you can see a whole lot of animals imaginable. Well only the ones that are only livable in a tropical area that is. You don't see a penguin walking around in Sahara desert, do you?

Once you get in and paid the entrance fee..there's this train that could take you to the animal sanctuary. These pictures shown above are only a few of the animals I took. There are still a gajillion of animals to look around. My favorites wherein I got a close contact to are the Camels and Tigers.

Oh man! don't get me started with the tiger. There's this attraction wherein you get into a caged jeep (9th photo) and the man in-charge tries to lure the tiger to get closer to the jeep. And he throws a piece of meat at the top, so that it'll look like that the tiger is attacking the jeep but really he's eating the meat thrown above. It was a heart-raising experience and fun at the same time :D remember I'm an adrenaline junkie.

At the end of the day, we went to Meat Plus Cafe for some tasty country fried steaks, and to-die-for Apple Pie. Yummmm. It's makes me wanna go back there for the second time. So if you visit Zoobic, stop by Meat Plus Cafe for an awesome dining experience :)

How do you define a good time?

 It is always a combination of 1 perfect travel destination and good company. My summer wouldn't be perfect without these guys. They always crack me up with their comedic jokes about each other. We are inseparable. Whenever one wants to go out about, one invites the same posse. We are a whole package.Now  that's what I call friends for life. 

Again these photos are circa 2011 of June. And I just found the time to edit these photos. wudya think of my edits? Yeah yeah.. need more practice. 

Moevenpick

Posting these dead old pictures just to be mesmorized by all of the 'beachy' and 'luxurious' setting, because during this summer I have been busy with my internship and summer requirements..so there's no time for me to indulge in a summer getaway. I'm pretty hooked with Moevenpick because of its elegant interiors, but during that time, they were planning to close for renovation. So now, haven't seen the new interiors yet. But I was informed that it is spot on! (yes! using English terms, cuz i'm part British and all hah!)
